Ive got bipolar. Pretty good way you've explained it. The fastest way that i explain it to people is that it's like running as fast as you can, then suddenly tripping and falling real hard, getting back up and doing it all over again. Total PITA to deal with it but I've gone long enough with it (with and without treatment) to know how to use it to my advantage and fighting off the lower lows when they happen. I actually prefer no medication as the medication typically prescribed (9 times out of 10 they give you antipsychotics) gives you an unreal hit of derealization for over 8 hours a day while ALSO throwing your sleep and appetite out of the window (doesn't happen with everyone but from what my doctors and other people with similar medications have told me it's very common). And i also just know how to deal with my condition. It's actually improving slowly but surely. Not saying everyone should do what i do though - if you need treatment you need treatment!!

Having both Adhd and Ocd, feels like they either cancel each other out, or I’m being pulled in two directions at once, my ocd wants to fix something, whilst my adhd tells me that I want to watch RUclips instead and don’t actually care about said “priority” of my ocd, making me stressed.

Idk if it’s related to coccydynia, but when I was anywhere from 7 to 8 and a half I was with my church’s singing group and my parents for rehearsal and one lady moved a chair, for a reason I can’t remember, and my ADHD brain forgot she moved it and muscle memory took over and I sat on a ghost chair and fell flat on my butt. Then ever since at random times my tailbone hurts a little bit or agonizingly bad. My mom told me a little bit after that I bruised it and that I wasn’t alone as she bruised hers at some point too.

My grandfather got diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018. Luckily, it was in an early form. So they removed the tumour and chucked it in the bin. Sadly, he and his wife missed my families’ trip to Spain. For a good reason at least😂

hi, so i have renfields syndrome (diagnosed during a medical procedure a few years back). i dont see much about RS, since its so uncommon, and i was honeslty very surprised to see it in this thumbnail. everything you said was spot on, and you didnt portray us as animalistic or disgusting. im really thankful for that. i, and my psychologist, agree that low RBC count or low BIL (anemia) are factors for the development of this condition, as i am anemic and have an extreme RBC deficiency. i myself have not harmed anybody or anything as a result of my condition, thought there have been urges in the past (not anymore, as i am on medication). i do have repeating episodes of self-harming to drink my own blood, which is very dangerous, and i am getting treatment for. my treatment includes taking medication for increasing my BIL, psychotherapy, monthly physical checkups, and (one of the most effective, but also the most embarrassing) drinking oxen blood, which you can buy at most butcher shops. its really difficult to live with, so thank you for treating people like me as human. i appreciate it.

I have combined ADHD and I take medication like a pill and it has the number 30 on it and still doesn’t seem to work that well I mean it works but not really. Is this normal?
